Zucchinis are filled with important vitamins and antioxidants. They only had six carbs and about 30 to 35 calories for a medium size zucchini . Because of this, they are also a very healthy snack and nutritious vegetable to have on your plate.
INGREDIENT LIST TO MAKE ZUCCHINI IN THE AIR FRYER
- Medium Zucchini- I use medium sized zucchini that are crisp and firm. You can use larger zucchini, or other summer squash, as long as they aren’t too thick.
- Olive oil-or avocado oil
- Kosher Salt- and black pepper to taste
To make these zucchini in the air fryer, they should be thinly sliced, no more than ¼ of an inch in thickness. Place them in a medium bowl and then toss with olive oil until they are lightly are coated.
Seasoned with salt & pepper, or your favorite flavor of seasonings and lay the zucchini pieces flat in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not stack or overlap, so work in batches if necessary.
Cook zucchini using the air fry feature, at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, shaking or tossing the zucchini halfway through cooking. Add additional time if necessary, until it reaches your desired crispness or tenderness.
